(We have compiled following article from various sources which are given in the references. Narration and comments are ours. We thank our references for their hard work and illumination.) Ibn e Battuta to travel is like Ibn e Khaldoon to history and sociology. (1) Ibn e Khaldoon's meticulous observations, deep analysis and narrations made him the founder of sociology and science of history; Ibn e Battuta likewise created the science and art of travel. What is science? It is meticulous and correct record of observations followed by logical analysis. What is art?
It is the dexterity, agility, swiftness, great understanding, memory and thorough perception of doing things in the most optimal and beautiful manner. Sciences and Arts are interrelated and interwoven. The art of medicine may be more difficult than the science of medicine. Ibn e Battuta had mastered both science
and art of travel.
