The Great Muslim Scientist Abu Musa Jabir
Ibn Haiyan (Geber) was father of both Laboratory
Science and Chemistry. He was undoubtedly the
pioneer in the field of Exact Science. Before Muslims
the science was mainly theories, conjectures and
philosophical discussions! Critical analysis and
isolations of substances, measurements and weighing
of various forms of energy, time and substances were
simply not there. Quran not only guided Muslims in
civilization, hygiene and humanity, but also
stimulated them to closely and keenly observe the
natural phenomena around them. Allah Ta’lah in
Quran has said at many occasions that Allah had
written the minutest details of every thing in the
universe. Nothing is left to accidents and conjectures.
Man is the Governor of the Universe and for this
special status he has been bestowed intelligence,
intellect and power to acquire, retain and reproduce
knowledge. When he acquires all this the forces of
universe (angles) obey his command. Of course there
is one exception and that is Satanic forces which are
not controlled by mere materialistic knowledge. As a
result most heinous crimes are committed by highly
educated people. In order to control Satanic forces one
has to follow divine guidance now well preserved in
Quran and in the practice of the Prophet (PBUH).
Quran has the unique distinction of being preserved
for ever and has protected the true teachings of earlier
divine books, e.g., Injeel (New Testament) and Torah
(Old Testament).
